Pics around Agra

I took out my camera one day while biking around the old british railroad and pedestrian and car and everything else bridge that connects downtown with Nagla Debjit.

this is a different bridge, also british that is only for railroad - and bikers (like this one) and pedestrians who want to risk the free railroad lane or walk on the side.

below on the river side people wash clothes/blankets and hang out with their buffalos - feeding them and collecting their poop for fuel cakes.

urban buffalo migration on the other side of the bridge

It had been a damp morning and slightly rainy night. and cold. time of pictures is around 10am.

bikers - my most equal road competition

no one has a chance against buffalos with velocity but fruit carts are usually one of lowest on totem pole due to maneuvability and inertia.

poop and garbage in the sewers. i know little about sewers, but people use metal sheets andd hoes and hands to clean these out. sometimes placed on metal carts and taken out to who knows where.

sweet and samosa shops - the most common use of shop space in agra - especially urban corner stores tend to opt to open these. the sweets are many and sweet and sold by the kilo in boxes. all too sweet for me.
